Background

A&M Pump & Equipment Distributors, Inc. has its roots dating to 1986 when it was founded as Kesco, Inc. as a manufacturer representative. Kesco began representing certain base companies interested in expanding their market position in the water and wastewater industry and seeking solid, qualified and knowledgeable representation in the State if Georgia.

From that base, and with name recognition and steady growth, Kesco was able to expand its offerings to include many sectors in the municipal and industrial marketplace. These included pumps and packaged pumping stations, water and wastewater equipment and storage tanks. In 2020, to better define the purpose of the company to outside interests, the Board of Directors decided to change the name of the company, while honoring certain persons who have been key to the success of the company. The company also decided to retain the familiar name of “Kesco” as a d/b/a.

Mission

With respect to our suppliers, the manufacturers and fabricators that have placed their trust in us, we provide honest and steadfast effort toward advancing our mutual business interests.

We are so grateful to our clientele and to the companies that we represent and distribute for, as it is they who remain responsible for our business existence, success and growth. That is not forgotten in our mission.

The mission of the company is to be available to our clientele to provide learned assistance toward solving their technical issues. Whether it is working with a consulting engineer, an end user such as a city or county government, or a contractor, we can offer our knowledge and acquired expertise to provide assistance toward a successful solution to their project.
